Cyberabad Traffic and Order Police have returned three men trapped on the water-filled section of a service road in Shamshabad in Telangana.

By Apoorva Jayachandran : Cyberabad police rescued three men trapped on a water-logged stretch of service road in Shamshabad in Telangana on Wednesday morning.
The service road was closed due to heavy rainfall and barricaded at underpass 15 under Shamshabad Police Station. According to police officials, the truck driver and two workers had removed the barricade placed on the service road near the Buitenringweg and the truck drove onto the service road.
Due to severe flooding on the route, the truck stopped and the three people got stuck in the vehicle.
The Shamshabad Law & Order police and traffic officers noticed that three people were trapped in the truck.
“Air traffic controller Jitender Reddy and patrol car officers Dhanraj Goud, Shiva Shankar and Ganesh rescued them using ropes,” said a police press release.
