5 terror operatives arrested in J&K . Ramban district
Police arrested five terror operatives in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

By Sunil Bhato: Police arrested five navvies (OGWs) in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. They are booked under the provisions of the Public Safety Act.
Surface workers (OGWs) usually help terrorists with logistical support, cash, shelter and other infrastructure that allows armed groups and insurgency movements such as Hizbul Mujaheddin and Jaish-e-Muhammad to operate in Jammu and Kashmir.

The five arrested persons have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Pala of Doligam, Banihal, Usman of Pogal Kunda Ramsu, Fardious Ahmad Khan of Krawa (currently an old toll booth in Banihal), Ab Hamid Khan of Tether, Banihal and Anyatullah Wani of Gund Adalkoot in Banihal .
The arrests come two days after two workers from Uttar Pradesh were killed after terrorists threw a grenade at non-residents in the Herman area of the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The non-local workers were identified as Manish Kumar and Ram Sagar. Both victims are residents of the Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh.
The Resistance Front (TRF) claimed responsibility for the attack and two terrorists were arrested. As many as five workers were sleeping in a tin shed when a hand grenade was thrown into the tin shed.
