“I am happy to confirm that we have embarked on a brand new mafia project,” said Roman Hladík, general manager of Hanger 13. “Although it will be a few more years and we can’t share anything now, we are very excited to continue working on this much-loved franchise and entertain our players with new stories.”
The studio has not shared any other details about the project. The most recent release was that of 2020 Mafia: Definitive Edition, a remake of the franchise’s original 2002 entry. It’s unclear if that project is the 2K and Hanger 13 game announced today.
