Shraddha, who was strangled and chopped into 35 pieces by her live-in partner Aaftab Ameen Poonawala, was admitted to a hospital in Vasai, Maharashtra in 2020 with severe back pain, India Today has learned. She was admitted to Ozone Multispeciality Hospital in Vasai on December 3, 2020, with severe pain in her back and spine for about a week. It is suspected that she was attacked by Aaftab, which led to the back pain after which she had to be hospitalized. Meanwhile, a Delhi court on Thursday extended the police detention of suspect Aaftab Ameen Poonawala for the next five days in the Shraddha Walker murder case. The court also granted the defendant’s request for a narcotic test.
