Telangana agents seized Rs 19 lakh on Tuesday during a naka check in Telangana’s Nalgonda district (representative image).

By Apoorva Jayachandran : Telangana police seized unaccounted cash worth Rs 19 lakh in Nalgonda district on Tuesday. The money was seized during Naka checks on the route between Guttuppal and Puttapaka.

The police have arrested the person in the car and are questioning him about the origin of the money.

The seizure comes as Munugode, a village in Nalgonda district, is due for a neighborhood search on Nov. 3.

On Monday, a police team seized Rs 1 crore of unbooked cash from the car of a BJP company during a vehicle check drive at the Chelmeda checkpoint in Nalgonda district of Telangana.
