The services in these cities are being rolled out in phases as the company continues to build its network and complete the rollout.

“This is only the first few days, but customer response has been very encouraging,” says Sekhon.

The company promises speeds 20 to 30 times faster than the current speed, coupled with a brilliant voice experience and a super-fast call connection.

Customers with 5G smartphones will enjoy the fast Airtel 5G Plus on their existing data plans until the rollout is more widespread.

It is not necessary to SIM card because the existing Airtel 4G SIM card is 5G enabled.

Airtel 5G Plus provides super-fast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chats, instant photo upload and more.
