By Srimoyee Chowdhury: With the advancement of technology, our lives have certainly become easier, but most of us tend to overlook its drawbacks. Have you ever come across a targeted ad for a product you weren’t even looking for and couldn’t fathom how your phone found out you were just thinking about trying the product? Well, it’s scary at times and Anand Mahindra’s new post is all about that scary side of the internet.
Mahindra took to Twitter to share a thought-provoking post about being watched online. The satire video shows a person ordering from ‘Google pizza’. In the clip, the person calls to order a pizza and finds out that the search engine has logged everything from his health information to bank statements.
“Big brother is (always) watching. The most defining emotion of the 21st century will be claustrophobia,” the caption reads.
