According to the PlayStation 5 product page at Best Buy, Totaltech members will be able to purchase a console beginning Nov. 7 at noon ET / 9:00 am PT. It’s rare for a retailer to make information for console additions public in this way, making this an excellent opportunity for Totaltech members to score a PS5. It’s unclear whether someone trying to buy a console has to go through Best Buy’s queuing system to buy one; However, Best Buy’s product page for the PlayStation 5 states that it has “updated their reservation process,” whatever that means. Please note that this addition only applies to the standard disc version of the PlayStation 5, which has only recently become truly generally available as part of various bundles.
