A fighter needs to hunt, and so does racing, according to the creator of the recently released PS1 “” from FromSoftware’s . This week, Bloodborne PSX developer Lilith Walther announced she is working on Bloodborne Kart, a project she plans to release “when it’s ready.” As you can probably guess from the title, Bloodborne Kart looks at rediscover the sprawling city of Yharnam as the setting for an arcade racer.
The teaser that Walther shared didn’t have much gameplay, but we’ll see Bloodborne’s protagonist and their slick new motorcycle portrayed in the iconic pixelated style of a classic game from the PS1 era. In an interview with Walther said she hopes it won’t be that long before she’s done Bloodborne Kart as it did its original demake. That’s partly due to the fact that she has pre-existing resources and code to work with. In the meantime, you can follow her progress in a continuous Twitter thread dedicated to the development of the project.
