If there was ever a match made in kitchen heaven, it would be Bobby Flay and every lady he has ever married & romantically linked with.

Thanks to a string of successful restaurants, TV appearances, and recipe books, Bobby Flay has become a household brand.

Bobby’s Burger Palace and the Mesa Grill are among the establishments with which the American celebrity chef has collaborated.

Since 1995, he has been a part of the Food Network, which has earned him four Daytime Emmy Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Flay has a particular interest in Thoroughbred horse racing and owns several graded stakes race winners.

Everyone is aware of the professional life of chefs, but only a small percentage of the population is aware of their personal life of theirs.

And the personal life of Bobby is quite interesting to know as he has married 3 different women. So, let’s get to know about Bobby Flay’s ex-wives a little better.

Here’s Everything To Know About Bobby Flay’s Wives

If you’ve been wondering about Bobby Faly’s romantic relationships we’ve got you covered. The great chef achieved a lot of things in his life, but he also lost some of them. And that includes his split with several females.

1. Debra Ponzek – Bobby Flay’s First Wife

Let’s go order-wise. People are more inclined to fall in love with those with whom they share a common passion, as people say.

And that’s the case between Debra and Bobby who shared a common interest in that they are both renowned cooks. Can you imagine?

For those who don’t know, Debra Ponzek is an American chef who, in 1992, defeated her then-husband Bobby Flay to win the James Beard Foundation Award for Rising Star Chef.

She is presently the owner of Connecticut’s Aux Délices restaurants. Debra studied engineering at Boston University but dropped out to pursue a career in cooking, graduating in 1984 from The Culinary Institute of America in New York City.

And after that later in her career, she attended various restaurants and her work impressed several CEOs. Because she’s quite talented in what she’s doing.

Bobby Flay & Debra’s Love Life

Debra married Bobby Flay, the executive chef, in May 1991. They had met in June of the prior year and agreed to marry in a matter of weeks.

These cuties were both shortlisted for the 1992 James Beard Foundation Award for Rising Star Chef. And when Flay found out he was nominated alongside his wife, he sought to drop from the category.

The Foundation declined, but Ponzek awarded him with his award the next year when he won. She then divorced Flay and moved to Connecticut with her husband, Greg Addonizio. Okay, that’s kind of odd.

Another thing to note, Debra was pregnant with Flay’s first child when they opened Aux Délices together; they have since had two more.

2. Kate Connelly – Bobby Flay’s Second Wife

When I said “people are more likely to fall in love with someone who shares their passions,” I wasn’t joking.

And it appears that Bobby has a lot of experience with his cooking passion. Because after marrying one chef and getting divorced, Bobby didn’t take any chances and married yet another one who’s a chef as well.

Well, it’s incredible to learn that Kate, 33, is a model, a TV host, and a chef, with degrees in all three fields. Mhm, she’s quite talented.

In New York City, she co-owns roughly four restaurants. Kate was interested in modeling as well as cooking.

And she was allocated to a variety of modeling projects during her early years. This was before she began her Food Network career as a co-host of Robin Leach Talking Food, which ended in 1995.

Kate aspired to be a model since she was a youngster, as do all children. But only a few have the bravery and perseverance to make their childhood ambitions accomplished.

Kate & Bobby Flay’s Relationship

So, Kate and Bobby initially met in 1994 when he guest-starred in an episode of “Robin Leach Talking Food”.

And they were “instantly attracted to each other,” so they started dating right away. Kate and Bobby actually got engaged after only a few months. And finally, on October 1, 1995, they married in a small ceremony. The pair kept things a little private at that time.

Kate, like Bobby, had a love-life-past and was the mother of one child from her prior relationships.

However, after three years of marriage and the birth of their daughter Sophie in 1996, Kate and Bobby divorced.

The couple shortly announced quits in 1998 and divorced soon after; the grounds for their split are still unclear to the public.

3. Stephanie March – Bobby Flay’s Third Wife

This time, instead of a chef, he married an actress, since he’s learned from his prior relationships of marrying chefs.

Stephanie March is best known for her role as Alexandra Cabot in the Law & Order franchise, which she has repeated in the NBC series Special Victims Unit (2000–2019) and other media.

She was nominated for a Satellite Award for Best Television Series – Drama for her performance.

Bobby & Stephanie’s Relationship

To say something amusing about their relationship, Bobby and Stephanie did not meet because they had a passion for cooking. In truth, a mutual friend had arranged for the two to meet on a blind date. And now that’s something different this time.

On February 20, 2005, Bobby and Stephanie, two lovebirds, married. Do you believe they split up? Guess again, guess again.

They did, indeed. Bobby Flay’s third marriage to Stephanie March lasted far longer than his first two.

According to speculations, they called it quits after ten years of marriage in March 2015. On July 17, 2015, their divorce was completed.

Rumors began to circulate about their motives for divorce.

Bobby Flay, 50, was thought to be having an adulterous affair with his assistant, singer/actress Elyse Tirrell, who was roughly half his age at the time.

Well, we don’t know if it’s true or not because, as we all know, false rumors about every celebrity we encounter circulate. And a lot of people claim that might be the reason for their divorce.

March married her soulmate, Dan Benton, a businessman from Katonah, New York, on September 1, 2017, two years later after her divorce.

Does Bobby Have Any Girlfriend Right Now?

Well, it’s been rumored for a while that something’s going on between Bobby and Christina Perez, and it’s finally come to light. Perez, 40, has contributed to Elle, Vogue, and Condé Nast Traveler, among other magazines.

They have also shared several photos together on their social media accounts.

It appears that their romantic love tale may progress to a new level; perhaps they are soulmates for life; who knows what the future holds.

Flay was also in a relationship with Heléne Yorke from February 2016 till early 2019.

Also, before ending the piece we’ve some cute interest about Bobby when he was a kid. Flay requested an Easy-Bake Oven for Christmas when he was eight years old.

His father considered a G.I. Joe to be more gender-appropriate. Despite his father’s concerns, he received both. We know this was out of topic, but we thought after everything we should even mention this.
