In recent years, some truly amazing Canadian TV shows have found their way into the hearts of American audiences. CBC Gem’s Northern Rescue is one of those shows. The family drama series debuted in the year 2019 and fans managed to impress the fans. But even after nearly three years, viewers are still waiting for Northern Rescue season 2. In addition, Amalia Williamson plays Maddie in the series. So, when and if the show returns for its second season, fans can expect most of the main cast members to reprise their roles. There may also be a new addition to the cast burner in Northern Rescue season 2 if the story calls for it.

What to expect from Northern Rescue Season 2?

At the end of the first season, the West family got into serious trouble. It ended with great concern for Commander John West’s family. His wife, Sarah West, died at the beginning of the story. The family migrated to a place called Turtle Island Bay, on the outskirts of Boston. At the end of the first season of Northern Rescue, Sarah’s sister, Charlie, discovers the reality about her lover, Alex. Also, Sarah’s daughter, Maddie, who Rick Walker was trying to find, reveals an unfortunate family secret. Rick had blackmailed her mother, Sarah, for having an affair, and he was her biological father.

Now the upcoming season can bring so many unexpected twists in the lives of the West family. They would struggle with multiple problems and obstacles in their way and ultimately triumph over their fortune! Since there’s no official trailer summary for the season yet, it’s very hard to predict what’s coming in Northern Rescue Season 2 at this point. We’re assuming the second season will pick up the story after the events of the first. season.
