Case Filed Against MLA Ratnakar Gutte, 409 Crores Embezzled From Bank – Marathi News | Case filed against MLA Ratnakar Gutte, 409 crores embezzled from bank

Mumbai: Gangakhed Sugar and Energy Ltd. In connection with embezzlement of Rs 577 crore from five banks including UCO Bank for factory, bank manager and Rashtriya Samaj Party MLA elected from Gangakhed constituency Ratnakar Gutte and other directors Vishnu Ambaji Munde, Kalpana Bhagwat Gutte, Sunil Ratnakar Gutte, Vijay Ratnakar Gutte . , CBI has registered a case against Sudhamathi Ratnakar Gutte.

In this case, CBI had recently raided two places in Nagpur and three places in Parbhani. Also, the ED (Enforcement Directorate) had also filed an indictment against him in court last December, alleging money laundering in this case. Subsequently, the CBI registered a separate case in this case. According to the FIR filed in this case, the Gangakhed plant had taken a total loan of Rs 577 crore 16 lakh from Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, IDBI Bank, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency led by from UCO Bank for the construction of the project. Certain milestones have been set for the disbursement of these loans. However, the factory increased the loan in addition to regular installments, creating more work. After this, it turned out that the factory had incurred losses and due to a lack of money, the company did not repay the loan.

Intent to appropriate borrowed money
In this case, the bank had conducted a forensic audit of the factory’s financial transactions. It concluded that instead of using the loan amount for the purpose for which the loan was taken out by the factory, the money was diverted. This is also an important point raised by CBI in the complaint. Also, while using the loan amount, transactions were made through other banks instead of the banks that provided the loan. The CBI has accused the factory and its directors of abusing the country’s banking system to raise money by not regularizing loan repayments.
