AAP leader Rajendra Pal Gautam resigned from Delhi’s cabinet on Sunday.

By Abhishek Anand: A day after Delhi’s minister Rajendra Pal Gautam tendered his resignation amid controversy over his attendance at a religious conversion ceremony, the Delhi Congress accused the AAP government of being anti-Dalit.

Rajendra Pal Gautam had recently attended a mass conversion rally where people pledged not to worship Hindu gods and goddesses.” His presence at the religious conversion sparked controversy, with BJP Delhi asking CM Arvind Kejriwal to fire the AAP leader.

After the altercation, BJP leaders cornered CM Arvind Kejriwal, who was on a Gujarat tour, and accused him of promoting anti-Hindu activities. And on Sunday, Rajendra Pal Gautam resigned from the Delhi cabinet.

However, the Congress party maintained a supportive stance towards Rajendra Pal Gautam and criticized the AAP government for seeking his resignation.

“It was Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti on Sunday when the AAP called for the resignation of their only Dalit minister Rajendra Pal Gautam. This shows that the party is anti-Dalit and has no feelings for the community,” said Chaudhary Anil Kumar, head of the Delhi Pradesh Congressional Committee. India told today.

“The party is deeply corrupted and is making evasive maneuvers by requesting the resignation of their Dalit minister. The party has failed to deliver on its promise of a fair government as it has not called for the resignation of those ministers who accused of corruption,” Anil Kumar said.
