By India Today Web Desk: Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) issued a passenger advisory on Friday when a thick layer of smog engulfed the capital, resulting in poor visibility.

Delhi Airport Authority took its official Twitter handle, writing: “Attention to all flyers! Low visibility procedures are underway at Delhi Airport. All flight operations are currently normal. Passengers are requested to contact the concerned airline for updated flight information.” (sic)

THICK SMOG ANDULFS DELHIA

Air quality in Delhi moved back into the ‘very bad’ category on Friday after remaining ‘bad’ for two days. Amid declining air quality, a thick layer of smog engulfed the national capital, resulting in poor visibility. According to data from SAFAR, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 303 at IGI Airport (T3).

Meanwhile, the Center’s air quality panel may issue a call for the curbs in Delhi-NCR to be repealed under the third phase of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), PTI reported.
