By Pankaj Jain: After incessant rains over the past two weeks that have damaged roads in the national capital, the Delhi government plans to pit all roads under the Ministry of Public Works (PWD) within a week.
Delhi PWD Minister Manish Sisodia ordered top PWD officials to inspect the roads under their jurisdiction and have them repaired as soon as possible. Sisodia has also requested the status report of the road works to be carried out.
Nearly 1400 km of roads in Delhi are covered by the PWD.
