Have you ever played Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley and wished you could subdue the townspeople? You’ll get your chance soon. Devolver and Massive Monster have announced that the cute but sinister Cult of the Lamb launches August 11 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. There is a demo on Steam to satisfy your demon hunger.
The game shares the community-building and top-down perspective of games like Animal Crossing, but the plot is anything but kid-friendly. You play a possessed lamb who is forced to repay a debt to a creepy stranger by (what else?) growing a cult around him. You have to build idols, perform rituals, preach sermons while gradually converting the locals in a randomly generated world. Of course, you must fight false prophets and anyone who refuses to embrace your faith.

The three titles are all coming to PC, while brave squire will also be available on PS5, Switch and Xbox Series X/S.
