Elon Musk recently launched a perfume called “Burnt Hair”, which he described as “The best fragrance on earth!”. Musk had previously pulled out of Twitter’s $44 billion acquisition from social media giant Twitter and has now asked fans to buy his $100 perfume so he can fund the Twitter acquisition.

Musk has gone all in on promoting his perfume and asking his followers to help him buy Twitter.

“Please buy my perfume so I can buy Twitter,” Musk said in a tweet.


In one day, Musk has reportedly sold more than 20,000 perfumes worth more than $2 million. Shortly after posting a
tweet Saying “20,000”, Musk changed his Twitter bio to “Perfume Salesman”.

Not Elon Musk’s first product

It’s not the first time Musk has sold a product like this. In 2020, Tesla sold a $250 tequila in the form of a lightning bolt called Tesla Tequila. The Tesla Tequila sold out quickly after it launched on the online store.
