flip card Ventures, the $100 million venture capital fund founded by Flipkart, announced Thursday that it is investing in six early-stage tech startups as part of its accelerator program.

The six startups will receive an equity investment of up to $500,000 from Flipkart and undergo a 16-week mentorship under ‘Jump forward‘ program.

“Through this pursuit, we aim to be a catalyst in the growing startup community by expanding our program each year and providing growth opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs,” said Ravi IyerSenior Vice President and Head, Corporate Development.

The startups cover areas such as robotics, AI and personalization, data analytics, supply chain solutions, insuretech, metaverse applications and more.

These are Dopplr (metaverse), Livwell (insurtech) LogisticsNow, NeuroPixel.AI, Rightbot Technologies and Seller App.

The startups undergo the well-curated mentorship program offered through a tailored curriculum designed by Bain & Company.

At the end of the program, the startups can present their ideas to potential investors and industry leaders on a ‘Demo Day’.

The Flipkart ‘Leap Ahead’ program achieved its first cohort in July 2021 with eight startups successfully pitching their ideas to investors and raising further funding.
