The new Forza Motorsport is expected to hit Xbox consoles and PC in Spring 2023, and it will hit Game Pass on day one. This is five years after the release of Forza Motorsport 7, the latest game in the series. The new item is not called 8 – just Forza Motorsportthank you very much.
Xbox studio Turn 10 showed the new title at the big Xbox and Bethesda game showcase, highlighting its many technical improvements and auto-reflection effects.
There is also a gameplay video showing a course in Maple Valley, a classic tree-lined course from the original motorsport in 2005 that was reinvented for the new game. Other returning circuits include Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Laguna Seca Raceway. The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in South Africa makes its Forza debut in the new motorsportâ€
Forza Motorsport has a dynamic time system for each circuit, in addition to the weather system.
“Changes in the time of day alter the ambient temperature, which in turn affects the track surface temperatures,” said creative director Chris Esaki on Xbox Wire†“These changes in track temperature affect your car’s grip, just like the rubber in it and the weather.”
