Google is adding a new “step-by-step tour” of privacy and security settings in Chrome to explore the many controls available, the company announced Wednesday. The new guide will have separate pages on some settings, each with descriptions of what happens when a feature is enabled. There will also be notes on “things to consider,” such as the fact that enabling history sync means the URLs you visit are saved to your Google account.

According to Google’s blog post on the news, the privacy guide will be “gradually rolled out in the coming weeks” to all Chrome desktop users on version 100. To access the guide, click the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner of your browser. , click Settings, and then look at the “Privacy and Security” tab. When available, the Privacy Guide should appear there.
