The first season of the Turkish series Love 101 premiered on Netflix in 2020. Due to the cliffhanger ending of the second season, many fans have been waiting for the return of the series with Love 101 Season 3. But even after two years, there is very little that fans know about the second season.
Love 101 revolves around five teenagers who commit a series of rebellious acts. This includes organizing a group of nerds to assist regular students, kissing a professor, attacking a basketball coach, etc. They have to persuade their sympathetic teacher, Burcu, to stay in school if they want to avoid that be expelled.
Will There Be Love 101 Season 3?
The second season of the Turking drama series debuted on Netflix in September 2021. Meanwhile, nothing has been confirmed as far as the show’s third season is concerned. The series was embroiled in controversy after some people speculated that one of the characters in the series could be gay, which did not sit well with Turkish people. So there was a lot of outrage against the series.
Netflix even denied these claims in a statement: “There is a lot of false information being spread through fake accounts. Only believe what you hear from us about the series and its characters, not the rumours.” Since then Love 101 has been on the back burner and unfortunately there have been no updates on it until now.
What can happen in love 101 season 3?
In the first season, the young players were looking to win Burcu for their new basketball coach Kemal. However, things did not go as planned as they got into a lot of trouble and were expelled from school. At the end of the first season, Kamal admitted his love to Burcu just as she was about to start, and the duo shared a kiss.
Isik, now an adult, after a while wrote letters to her old friends, inviting them to reminisce with her in their now dilapidated hangout. When Eda finally appears, she begins to cry. And admits she made a mistake leaving their group the year they were evicted by accepting a transfer. The hut will soon collapse and as the ladies get up to leave, they feel a presence behind the door.
When the series returns with Love 101 Season 3, viewers will be able to see the show continue the story after the events at the end of the first season. We can also find out who was the person who knocked on the door at the end of Season 1. Meanwhile, the gang will stick together or disperse in the wake of the tragedy, arguably the main theme of the season. The relationship between Kemal and Burcu may be further elucidated. Will fate allow the two to be together or break up? If she has a hole in her heart, could Isik ever fill it?
Who will star in the third season?
In the cast of the Turkish drama series for young adults, Kubilay Aka plays the role of Kerem. Alina Boz plays the young Eda. And Selahattin Pasali appears as Osman. On the other hand, we have Ipek Filiz Yazici as young Isik and Bade Iscil who plays adult Isik. And Rae Varela appears as adult Eda. Also Pınar Deniz portrays teacher Burcu, and Kaan Urgancioglu appears as coach Kemal. When the series returns with Love 101 Season 2, we can see the return of these cast members in their roles. At the same time, the show may also introduce some new characters in the second season.
