Now only a few days are left for the Indian Premier League-2023 to start. Meanwhile, some changes are being seen in the teams in the last days. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday announced the signing of South African fast bowler Sisanda Magala, who will replace New Zealand bowler Kyle Jamieson in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

Due to injury, Jamieson will not be able to play in the league starting March 31, which was bought by CSK for one crore rupees. Magala has a lot of experience of playing in the shorter format of the game.

“Although Magala has played only four T20 Internationals for South Africa, he has been a regular wicket-taker in domestic T20 matches over the years,” the IPL said in a statement. He will join CSK for his ‘base price’ of Rs 50 lakh.

The weight of 32-year-old Sisanda is more than 70 kg, but despite having a heavy body, his game has been tremendous. Not only fast bowling, but coming in the lower order, he is also useful in making many big shots. Ever since he has been associated with CSK, some of his old videos have gone viral on social media.

Squad of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for IPL 2023:
Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Captain), Devon Conway, Rituraj Gaikwad, Subhranshu Senapati, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Pretorius, Mitchell Santner, K Bhagat Verma, Moeen Ali, Rajvardhan, Shivam Dubey, Deepak Chahar, Mahish Teekshana, Mukesh Chowdhary, Prashant Solanki, Simarjeet Singh, Ajinkya Rahane, Tushar Deshpande, Ben Stokes, Mathisha Pathirana, Sheikh Rashid, Nishant Sindhu, Sisanda Magala and Ajay Mandal.
