However, Netflix has successfully pulled this off with the first season of The Lincoln Lawyer, which premiered earlier this month. The show, based on Michael Connelly’s The Brass Verdict, has been well received by fans and critics alike. When is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Coming?
The first season of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer premiered on the streaming giant on May 13, 2022. Moreover, for the fans waiting for the show’s renewal, we don’t have any news yet. Neither Netflix nor the showrunners have yet made an official announcement about the show’s renewal for season 2 of The Lincoln Advocate.

Mickey discovered that evil Judge Mary Holder had a hand in Jerry’s murder. He then sent her to the authorities. The season ended with Mickey finally making up for some of his past mistakes. Mickey secured the release of a former client, Jesus Menendez, who had been wrongly convicted.
When the show returns with season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer, the story will continue from where the first season ended. We will see Mickey try another complicated case that will put him in some tough situations. On the other hand, there will also be several minor and minor cases throughout the season. Meanwhile, the second season could also focus on Mickey’s personal life and how he tried to get things back on track with his ex-wife Maggie.
How does Mickey differ from the books?
One of the main differences between the book and the series is that in The Brass Verdict, Haller’s father died when he was only five years old. However, in the Netflix series, Haller is much older and throughout the first season there were several flashbacks from his childhood that surprised the two and forged a bond. Plus, we saw Elliott Gould, Haller’s father’s former partner, act as a mentor figure for him.
While there are a few differences between Netflix’s shows and the book, the explanations explain the changes. Changes to the story and characters are necessary given the time difference between the book. Furthermore, many of the adjustments improve the relationships between the characters, making the series more emotionally appealing.
