Twitter paused its blue tick subscription on Friday after the rise of fake accounts with the verification tick.
By India Today Web DeskDays after pausing his new Blue plan — which charges users $8 a month — Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk said Twitter Blue would return by the end of next week.
In response to a question about Twitter Blue’s return posed by a Twitter user, Musk said, “Probably late next week.”

Twitter paused its blue tick subscription on Friday after the rise of fake accounts with the verification tick. Previously, Twitter only awarded the blue check mark to public figures, including politicians and journalists.
Twitter rolled out Twitter Blue to users in the US, UK and a few other countries on November 9. In the US, the service, which allowed users to get a verified badge for free, cost $7.99. In India it probably cost Rs 719.
Some Twitter users in India started seeing a prompt to subscribe to Twitter Blue.
