By Arvind Ojha: One of the alleged masterminds of the Jahangirpuri violence in April reportedly tried to disrupt peace in the same area on Sunday after being released on bail and was arrested again.

Jahangirpuri in Delhi witnessed violent clashes, including stone pelting, arson and firing, between two communities on April 16 during a Hanuman Jayanti procession. As many as eight police officers and a civilian were injured in the violence.

Ansar was arrested by the Delhi Police on Sunday, April 17 and sent to the police by a court in Delhi.

Along with Ansar, the Delhi Police Department had also filed charges against a person named Zakir. He too is said to have tried to ruin the atmosphere in Jahangirpuri after he got out of prison. He was also arrested by the police. According to police sources, Ansar and Zakir tried to create tension by setting off a procession in the area.

Two other men, Arbaaz and Junail, who were with Ansar and Zakir, have also been arrested by the police.
