Kolkata Police Arrest Illegal Call Center, Arrest Two For Making Threat Calls To Gujarat Office

Kolkata police have busted an illegal call center and arrested two people for making a threat to an office in Gujarat.

By Rajesh Saha: Kolkata police have busted a call center and arrested two people from the Tijala area for making a threat call to an office in Gujarat. According to police reports, a fake bomb threat was received at an office in Gujarat.

The police registered a case and launched an investigation. The Gujarat Police, along with the Kolkata Police, received an indication that some people are running an illegal telecommunications company in the Tiljala Shibtala area.

They tracked down the suspect and picked up the fake call center in Kolkata.

Police arrested the suspect named Sarowar Hossain and Habib Mondal for their involvement in the threat call. The police also recovered 4 SIM boxes, 256 SIM cards, a laptop and three routers from the suspect’s possession.

Further research is underway.
