Early life and education

Liana only spent the first two years of her life in Temecula, as she and her sister were then raised in Portland, Oregon, by their father, who is of Mexican descent, who was a lawyer, and their mother, who taught at a local high school.

Liana became interested in the weather at a very young age, because she wanted to know why it rains and why it snows, while she was fascinated by thunder and the sounds it produces.
