In Tamil Nadu, cases have been registered against Manish Kashyap alias Tripurari Tiwari for spreading fake videos of Bihar laborers being beaten up on social media including YouTube. Home state Bihar has 14 cases on YouTube and Tamil Nadu has 13 cases. Despite repeated attempts by EOU, Manish Kashyap was not appearing. After this, an arrest warrant was issued against the accused. Police and EOU teams continuously raided the possible hideouts of the accused, but still he did not appear.
Action taken to attach the house
On this last Saturday, action was taken to attach the house of accused Manish Kashyap in the presence of the police administration in Mahna Dumri village, Bettiah on the order of the court. After this, the accused surrendered at the Jagdishpur police station in the district.
This attachment was done in the case of extortion and obstruction in official work. In fact, on March 31, in the year 2021, Manish Kashyap had demanded extortion from the manager of SBI’s Paras Pakdi branch. According to the police, 7 cases have been registered against the accused in Bettiah itself.

He writes himself ‘Son of Bihar’ (Manish Kasyap, Son of Bihar). In the year 2020, Tripurari alias Manish contested as an independent from Chanpatia assembly seat in Bihar.
