In the midst of ongoing action against Khalistan supporter Amritpal in Punjab, the Government of India has also started taking action against those who run Khalistani agenda on social media while sitting abroad.
Many such Twitter accounts have been banned in India, with the help of which venom was being spewed against India. The special thing is that it also includes the account of Canadian MP and New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh.
Jagmeet has been running an anti-India agenda through his social media account for a long time. Apart from the Canadian MP, these social media accounts also include the Twitter account of Canadian poet Rupi Kaur, United Sikh Organization and Gurdeep Singh Sahota from Canada.
Attacks in London and America
This step has been taken at such a time. When Khalistan supporters recently attacked the Indian High Commission and Consulate in London, the capital of Britain and San Francisco city of America.
Khalistanis had demonstrated
During the demonstration in front of the Indian High Commission in London, Khalistan supporters climbed the High Commission building and pulled down the flag of India. At the same time, Khalistanis attacked the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, America.
Action is going on against Amritpal
All these developments took place after the crackdown against the separatists in Punjab. In fact, in Punjab, the police has started a campaign against Khalistan supporter Amritpal. About 112 of his supporters have been arrested so far, while Amritpal has fled for fear of arrest.
High-alert across Punjab
Several teams of Punjab Police are raiding different locations in search of Amritpal. Entire Punjab is on high alert at this time. Police is stationed everywhere. It is only after this action that the supporters of Khalistan sitting in the country as well as abroad have become furious. That’s why they have started targeting India’s High Commission and Embassy on foreign soil.
