The Grand Vitara posted volumes of 4,769 units during the month. In comparison, the volumes of Creta stood at 12,866 units and those of the Seltos at 11,000 units.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara costs between Rs 10.45 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Creta is in the price range of Rs 10.44 lakh to 18.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The Kia Seltos is available in the price range from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

The passenger car (PV) segment posted its best monthly performance ever in September, clocking in at 3,55,946 units for domestic wholesale deliveries, surpassing the previous best of 3,41,971 units recorded in July.

Maruti’s domestic PV volumes were up 135% yoy to 1,48,380 units, while Hyundai’s was up 50% yoy to 49,700 units and Kia’s 79.05% yoy to 25,857 units. The Creta and the Seltos were also the best-selling Hyundai and Kia models in September, respectively.
