Born Michael William Day on March 20, 1980 in Orange County, California, USA, he attended Panorama Elementary School and then attended El Modena High School in Orange.
While in high school, Mikey began to show his interest in theater and drama, joining the drama program and its students. He would also write comedic sketches for monthly meetings. After graduating from high school, Mikey enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theater.
