Nintendo buys animation studio to help create its own ‘visual content’

Nintendo has acquired Japanese CG production company Dynamo Pictures and plans to rename it “Nintendo Pictures”, the company announced† The goal with the new subsidiary is to develop visual content using Nintendo IP and to focus on “the planning and production of visual content, including CG animation”. Dynamo previously worked with Nintendo on the Metroid: Other M game also has credits on anime TV series such as Gospel: 2.0
