Okbaby, a popular YouTube channel with more than 1.49 million followers, is closing. Fans who have been looking forward to the family’s vlogs have been shocked by the news that the station would no longer exist. The couple vlogged their lives together, shooting videos of each of their children from birth. However, as soon as the two broke up, it was decided to end the channel.
Okbaby’s conclusion: details are under investigation
YouTubers Kyra Sivertson and Oscar Morales, who have built a profession by vlogging their lives for the world, have announced the closure of their channel, Okbaby. The couple, who have four children, broke up earlier this year and announced their split on their family’s YouTube channel.
After their divorce, the couple said that they are going their separate ways and that their channel is keeping them together apart from the kids so it would be a smart option to stop making videos so they can live a different life. Oscar can be heard in the video noting how strange the situation has become, but it’s a good thing they stop making movies together.
Throughout the film, the couple discussed how splitting custody of their four children would be the most difficult aspect of their divorce. At the same time, Oscar and Kyra reminisced about how they spent their entire lives on YouTube, from shooting their first video to putting together their first apartment, getting their first real job to raise a family, buying a house, buying vehicles, and finally welcoming their children.
The pair said at the end of the video:
“We are no longer Okbaby; we’re Oscar and Kyra with a bunch of babies.’
Oscar and Kyra are currently working on their own channels. However, they also said that they would be releasing three more videos, which will be the last shots on this channel; after that, they stop publishing videos and viewers can follow them on their own channels instead.
Both acknowledged a flaw in their relationship when they announced their breakup a few months ago; but at the time, internet users rebuked Kyra for breaking up with Oscar, since that was the message sent over the video. However, the couple decided that divorce would also be good for their children. They agreed to share their channel Okbaby at the time, but it was clearly much harder than they expected. When the couple announced their divorce earlier this year, many speculated that Kyra was cheating on Oscar, but it was later proven not to be the case. It was a mutual choice to break up.
