Operation of Turkish forces in Syria, mastermind of Taksim Square bombing killed

Turkish troops have killed the mastermind behind the horrific Istanbul bombing during an operation in northern Syria.
According to the official Turkish news agency, the mastermind was identified as Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) agent Halil Menthi, who was killed by Turkish intelligence officials.
This operation was carried out in the Qamishli area. It should be noted that on November 13, 6 people were killed and dozens injured in the powerful bomb explosion that occurred at the distribution square of Istanbul’s Istiqlal highway.
Turkey said the explosion was carried out by the PKK, after which it launched an operation against Kurdish rebels in Syria.
While the PKK has denied responsibility for the attack, no group has claimed responsibility for the Taksim Square blast.
Turkish officials said the mastermind behind the attack fled from Turkey to Syria.
