In Uttarakhand, the voting card will now reach the house after reaching the age of 18. This will be possible with the help of a family identity card that is being developed, as in Haryana. The IT department undertook an exercise to prepare an online database of every family in the region.
Family Registry in Haryana contains complete information about every member of every family. If a family benefits from a government scheme, full information will also be updated. In Uttarakhand, the government has also started preparations to make a family identity card in this way. The IT department is preparing an online database of every family in the entire region.
Each family is given a unique ID
Permission from the family is required to add data to the family card. Each family is given a unique family ID. Family ID is matched with birth, death, and marriage information for automatic updates. When registering one of the three, the information is updated in Family ID. Information on schemes such as scholarships, grants and pensions will also be updated in the family horizon.
No application required for scheme benefits
Family ID card information is used to determine your eligibility for government benefits. This will allow for self-selection of beneficiaries to benefit from the schemes. Once the database is created, families no longer need to apply for benefits under government schemes. Apart from this, no other document needs to be submitted after the data has been verified and verified.
