Ram Charan couldn’t be home for Diwali because of the release of RRR in Japan. He wrote a note explaining why it was still a once in a lifetime opportunity.

By Anindita Mukherjee: RRR then made headlines. RRR is now making headlines. The film, which received a thunderous response at the Indian box office, was recently released in Japan. For the same money, SS Rajamouli and stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan are in Japan to promote their film, which is doing equally well. Therefore, the trio missed the Diwali celebrations in India.
Ram Charan took to Instagram and wrote a note about missing Diwali in India experiencing RRR with the Japanese audience.
RRR MISSING DIWALI IN INDIA, PENS A NOTE
Ram Charan along with his wife Upasana, Jr NTR, SS Rajamouli and others are in Japan promoting RRR. The film was released in the East Asian country on October 21. Ram had to miss Diwali celebrations in India. He took to Instagram and wrote a heartfelt comment. It can be read: “I missed being home for Diwali, but how could I miss a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience love for RRR from the Japanese public. Japan is special – The people, the culture, the love and respect they have everyone is second to none this is just the beginning (sic).”
It can be read further: “Love you so much @ssrajamouli Garu fr this experience It was such a blast to spend quality time again with brother @jrntr. Thanks to our distributor KeizoKabata Big shout out to @sskarthikeya and team !! (sic).”
RRR IN JAPAN
RRR hit the screen in Japan on October 21. It caused a lot of buzz among fans, as was the case in India. SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan left no stone unturned to promote the film in this market before its release.
ABOUT RRR
RRR is a historical drama in which Jr NTR and Ram Charan play the tribal leader Komaram Bheem and the brave Alluri Sita Rama Raju respectively. The fictional saga explores their friendship and highlights their struggle against oppression. The cast includes Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani and Ray Stevenson. The music is composed by MM Keeravani. RRR collected nearly Rs 1,200 crore at the worldwide box office.
