According to The Sun, the 24-year-old celebrity, whose real name is Alex O’Connor, allegedly assaulted an unnamed lady in the West End on June 1, 2022. 16, four times the next day, once in a taxi and three times at his house in Notting Hill, according to Leading Britain’s Conversation.
After appearing in London’s Southwark Crown Court on October 10, Rex County Orange challenged the assault claims. After pleading not guilty to all six charges, the artist was released on unconditional bail. The preliminary trial date has been set at January 3, 2023.

The Rex Orange County representative broke the silence on his behalf.
After the publication of his allegations, the Rex Orange County representative sent a statement to Variety addressing the case.
“Alex is stunned by the allegations he is rejecting and is eager to defend his reputation in court.” He cannot say more because of the ongoing proceedings.”
Rex Orange County said on Twitter on July 2 that he had to postpone his tour dates in New Zealand, Europe and Australia “due to unexpected personal issues”.
The singer published a lengthy statement without explaining why:
“I will have to spend some time at home this year, so I won’t be able to travel further as planned.” This is the last thing on my mind. I love to travel and I apologize for disappointing everyone. I look forward to getting back to it as soon as possible.”

Rex Orange County was born on May 4, 1998 in Hampshire, England. He attributes his musical influences to well-known English bands such as ABBA, Queen and Green Day, which prompted him to join the school choir. Alex O’Connor began his musical career with drums and piano, which he learned to play before switching to guitar at the age of 16. After graduating from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, O’Connor became a drummer.
In November 2016, the artist uploaded his software-recorded debut album to Soundcloud, attracting the attention of English producer Ben Ash, with whom he subsequently collaborated on hits such as UNO, Best Friend and Untitled. Apricot Princess, Rex Orange County’s second album, was released the following year. In the same year, he rose to fame with singles such as Loving Is Easy and Best Friend. He also appears on Tyler, the Creator’s Flower Boy album in 2017. The artist has since released three studio albums and one mixtape. Who Cares?, his most recent album, was released in March 2022.
