Samsung Galaxy S22 launched: In view of the rumors that have spread in recent months, we already know what to expect from the Galaxy S22 trio in terms of features and hardware. We also know it will arrive in February, but the exact date remained a mystery till now.
Now, a new report from South Korea indicates that the event will take place early next month and a few weeks before the start of MWC 2022.
According to a direct report from Korea daily, the announcement was made on February 8. It said pre-orders would begin the next day and actual shipping would begin on February 24.
Rumors are swirling around about the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung’s Exynos 2200 chips. The heat came from a study that found that more consumers opted for the Snapdragon 2200 Gen over the Samsung Galaxy S22 than in the Exynos 822, buyers of the S22 Ultra model have no problem choosing chips. Informer Ahmed Quader also stressed that “Exynos 2200 copies have been canceled” and “Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for Galaxy S1 Ultra will be available in all countries”.
It is worth remembering that the same source actually says there is no problem with the Samsung / AMD chip and that “officially, the Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with the Exynos 2200”.
Of course, knowledge can vary and educators often have to rely on multiple sources of conflicting information. However, there is more than a day difference between these claims. Qwider reports that the information obtained has already changed from one to another and covered the entire area covered with snow and said “European Samsung customers will be very happy to sleep tonight”. ,
While some stores claim that all Galaxy S22 units will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Qwider’s post clearly only describes the S22 Ultra. Therefore, the Exynos 2200 will still be visible, but only in the lower models of the series.
Interestingly, a LetsGoDigital report in November 2021 stated that the Exynos 2200 would not appear in the Galaxy S22 series. Obviously, none of this will be confirmed until Samsung issues an official statement, but this time around it looks like Samsung / AMD cooperation may not reward any party as expected.
Gorilla Glass in Samsung Galaxy S22
Corning unveiled the Gorilla Glass Victus over a year ago and has since been used on many smartphones (starting with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra) and other solid phones. This reinforced glass fan could be in the corner and will be visible on future Samsung flags (according to the report).
The Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 +, and S22 Ultra all use “Gorilla Glass Victus +,” according to the Ice Universe. It is not yet clear whether it already exists or will continue to exist in the future.
Last month, The Cat announced that it would have glass backs of all three S22 models. But even though they used an older version of Gorilla Glass on the back panel, it was still better than the S21 and S21 +, which had plastic backs. The S21 Ultra has Victus on both sides. As per NDTV Gadgets
The leaked sheet behind the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a special glass – Super Clear Glass, also developed by Corning. This reduces the look and feel of the glass.
You can see three S22 model models. If you look at the pictures, there is not much gloss on the rear glass. In fact, some shades have a matte finish.
The S22 and S22 + are expected to come with Rose Gold, Green, Black, and White, while Ultra Burgundy is expected to be green, black, and white. Naturally, there are also a variety of first-class items.
Samsung has not yet officially set a date, but Korean media have reported that the Galaxy S22 Unpacked event will take place on February 8.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Exynos 2200 Revealed
According to tipster Ahmed Quader, the process of launching the Galaxy S22 with the Exynos 2200 processor could be scrapped. If true, the South Korean tech giant will be making three Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones: the base model of Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Snapdragon chipset.
Notably, Samsung is said to be installing the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC on its smartphone.
In the past, Samsung has produced different models in different parts of the world. As mentioned earlier, markets in Latin America, Asia, and Europe are buying smartphones in the Galaxy S series powered by Exynos. However, Samsung is expected to launch its Exynos 2200 chipset next month. The company may have followed a similar path when Vivo smartphones arrived in China last year with the Exynos chipset.
