Early life and education
Sara grew up in a Jewish family – her mother Dr. Jane Eisen was a child scientist, while her father Dr. Drore Eisen is best known for co-founding CDx Diagnostics, a lab that helps people detect and treat cancer. Sara’s paternal grandparents are Holocaust survivors.
Sara attended Camp Ramah Jewish school where she became interested in acting and learned to dance and act. After graduating, she enrolled at New York University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2007.
