By India Today Web Desk: Sima Taparia and novelist Ravinder Singh took the stage at Sahitya AajTak English 2022. They shared their respective thoughts on the topic, The Dying Institution of Marrige? During the session, Sima Taparia talked about the criticism of Indian Matchmaking and what happened to one of the clients, Aparna Shewakramani.
SIMA TAPARIA RESPONDS TO CRITICISM AGAINST INDIAN MATCHMAKING
Sima Taparia was last seen in the second season of Indian Matchmaking which turned out to be a hit on Netflix.
Sima Taparia spoke at the 2022 Sahitya AajTak about the criticism of Indian Matchmaking. She said, “The show will be a hit if you get both responses. That’s why Indian Matchmaking is a hit show.”
She also talked about which episode she liked. She said, “Everyone says, Sima ji, you are humble and sweet. That’s why everyone liked me. Everyone loved the 7th episode. Everything else is sugar coated.”
SIMA TAPARIA TALKS ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED WITH APARNA
Aparna Shewakramani was one of Sima Taparia’s clients. However, during the show, she couldn’t find her match and disagreed with Sima.
Talking about what happened with Aparna, Sima said, “Aparna is stubborn. If you are stubborn, you get less matches. That’s what happened on the show. You have to watch the criteria. If your criteria is too long are, you may not get any matches.”
