All American Season 4 Episode 9 Preview: What Will Happen?

The ninth episode of All American Season 4 is titled “Got Your Money”. Spencer will try to have some fun before high school finally ends. However, he will still be in conflict over the choice between the sponsorship opportunities that have been offered to him. In addition, Coop and Patience had decided to take a huge step in their relationship. Furthermore, Olivia helps Layla’s father find a touching graduation present for her daughter in the ninth episode.

A short summary

In the previous episode, Spencer and Jabari met and argued about everything that happened. Jabari warned Spencer not to fall for him, as he would be banned and his future as a professional footballer would be in jeopardy. However, Spencer told Jabari that he wasn’t afraid of the consequences and didn’t want anyone else to take the blame. In addition, Spencer learned that the school board was investigating the whole matter and planned to take disciplinary action against him.

Furthermore, a teacher approached Spencer and told him that he was sure Spencer had not stolen the trophy. The teacher told Spencer that the management just wanted a name. However, Spencer was determined not to give up Jabari’s name. His mother also questioned his actions and urged him to give up when he got home from school. She told him to think about his and Dillon’s future.

Meanwhile, in All American Season 4 Episode 8, Spencer’s friends tried to come up with a plan to support him. They decided to put pressure on the school board by boycotting their graduation. However, Spencer showed up with Olivia and asked them not to skip the graduation. He told them they deserved to celebrate their achievements and not make plans to ruin the moment.

Spencer watches the board as Jabari reveals the truth

During the disciplinary hearing, the commission threatened to expel Spencer from the country if he did not disclose the names of the people who stole the trophy. Spencer chose to remain silent when one of the members commented that it was a shame as he used to be one of the good guys. Spencer lost his cool and said that’s how the system divides the students. He said school leaders should defend their students rather than attack them.

Suddenly, Jabari appeared at the hearing and confessed to stealing the trophy in front of the jury. Soon after, all of Spencer’s friends and classmates arrived at the hearing to support Spencer. Fortunately, Spencer was not driven out because of S’Angelo’s sacrifice. He told the committee that he encouraged the students to joke as director of South Crenshaw. But the committee believed it. D’Angelo was fired as director of Crenshaw in All American season 4, episode 8.
