To try out the feature, you need to sign up for the Steam beta. You can do that by going to the Steam settings menu and clicking “Change” under the “Beta Participation” heading. Please note that you will need a Bluetooth adapter or motherboard with Bluetooth connectivity to use your Joy-Cons with Steam as it is not possible to connect the controller to your PC via a cable as you would to do.
