Steam finally adds support for Nintendo Joy-Con controllers

, Valve is finally adding Steam support for the console’s controllers. in a spotted by , said the company adding Joy-Cons support in the latest Steam beta. With the new software it is possible to use Joy-Cons individually or as part of a matched pair for playing games.

To try out the feature, you need to sign up for the Steam beta. You can do that by going to the Steam settings menu and clicking “Change” under the “Beta Participation” heading. Please note that you will need a Bluetooth adapter or motherboard with Bluetooth connectivity to use your Joy-Cons with Steam as it is not possible to connect the controller to your PC via a cable as you would to do.
