Tata Motors has secured an order for 1,000 buses from the Haryana government

Tata engines said Thursday it has secured an order for 1,000 buses Haryana Weigh. The auto major said it will deliver 52-seater fully built BS VI diesel buses in phases, as per the contract.



“The delivery of these buses will further strengthen our partnership with the Government of Haryana and help provide modern public transport to the citizens of the state. We are committed to modernizing public transport in India,” Tata Motors Vice President (Product Line – Buses) Rohit Srivastava said in a statement.

Haryana’s Transport Department chief secretary Navdeep Singh Virk said the buses will bring benefits to all stakeholders and provide unparalleled comfort to passengers.

“The introduction of the new buses will help to make inter-state public transportation even more efficient, making commuting across Haryana state smooth,” he added.
