I’m not going to start this blog post about how college is a stressful time because we all already know that. However, I want to save your life (and numbers) by listing the best time management tips that work for me.
1. Get. A. Crazy. Scheduler.

I promise getting a planner will help you stay on top of your schoolwork, club events, work stuff, etc. Personally, I use a paper planner AND Google calendar to keep track of everything. I coordinate everything based on classes, student union service events, and work-related matters. Once I’ve completed a task or attended an event, I mark it so I know it’s done. Trust me, there’s no better feeling than crossing off an assignment you’ve just turned in.
2. Complete your assignments DAYS before they are due

Yup. You read that correctly. I tend to complete my assignments 1 week ahead. This allows me to complete work that ends up being of better quality because it is not rushed, and the stress I feel is reduced. By completing assignments early, you can get them out of the way and avoid technical issues at 11:59 PM.
3. Follow the Pomodoro Technique while studying and completing assignments.

I use this technique the only time I work on assignments and study, and it’s been a game changer. Read my blog post about it!
