After which the dead body was thrown on the road and a false theory of heat and running was born. In this regard, the police have registered a case of murder against the son and are conducting further investigations.Jashuben Khordia, a resident of Begwa village in Dholka taluka, filed a complaint that her husband Bharatbhai went from home to the canal near the farm at around 5:30 PM on February 22 to water the cattle. After which, when he returned at about 6:30 PM, an unknown driver ran away after hitting him on the Dholka highway that passed by the village. He died as a result of serious injuries in this accident. Based on the preliminary investigation, the Koth police have filed a report against the unknown driver. But, Apart from the head injuries, police grew suspicious as no injuries were found in any other part of Bharatbhai’s body. In addition, the doctors also expressed concern that the head injury was not caused by a collision with a vehicle at the autopsy. The matter was taken seriously and investigated by Ahmedabad Rural LCB. Which revealed that the late Bharatbhai had frequent conflicts with his eldest son Mahendra. Which led to a fight. Technical surveillance showed Mahendra’s presence near the accident scene. On the basis of what he was detained and interrogated, he broke down and made a startling admission that even when his father went to water the cattle at the canal, there was an altercation. Then, in a fit of rage, he hit Bharatbhai’s head with a wooden stick and he fell down and died. At that point, he panicked and conspired to turn the whole incident into a traffic accident and threw Bharatbhai’s dead body on the road and fled from there. In this regard, the Koth Police has registered a case of murder of the father against Mahendra and initiated legal action.
