Corsaut was driven by her intense passion for acting to join Northwestern University, Illinois, where she majored in drama, studying acting with one of the most famous American founders of method acting, Lee Strasberg. Aneta dropped out during her junior year to start her career as a professional actor; she had received adequate formal education and was fully prepared to act in TV shows. However, she held on to her urge to get a degree, which drove her to take courses at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

1955 marked Aneta’s official debut in her careerwhen she was selected to guest star on two television shows: “Robert Montgomery Presents” (1955), a drama series hosted by R. Montgomery, and “Producers’ Showcase,” a live program that aired from 1954.
