TikTok opens up a new way for creators to make money. The company plans to share a portion of its revenue with top video creators when their videos appear alongside certain ads. The program mirrors how YouTube pays creators, and it could lead to bigger payouts from the platform, which doesn’t yet provide a substantial way for creators to make money.

The new program, called TikTok Pulse, will allow ads to be specifically shown next to “the top 4% of all videos on TikTok,” the company wrote. a blog post Today.
