By Apoorva Jayachandran : The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) filed a complaint against unidentified miscreants after alleged fake calls from Telangana Chief Minister KCR went viral on social media. TRS social media convener Y Satish Reddy accused the BJP and said the fake recording of the call was made by the party.

The complaint said some unidentified people had uploaded a video on YouTube mimicking the prime minister’s voice. The impersonator discussed distributing money ahead of the Munugode midterm elections.

A case has been registered on the matter under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
