We will be launching an update for Twitter Blue in the coming weeks.

In the course of this work, we have made the decision to discontinue ad-free articles, effective as of the end of today, October 31, 2022. This difficult decision will allow us to focus our resources on adding additional value to our members. Expect to hear more from us soon.

We are attaching an official notice of termination of the service’s cancellation, as well as termination of the associated Publisher Agreement, as the service underlying the agreement is no longer active. As stated in more detail below, you do not need to take any action and you will receive all payments you earn for Publisher Participation until the date of termination.

What is going on?

Starting tomorrow, we will stop displaying the ‘Twitter Blue Publisher’ label on tweets containing your articles. We no longer send a Twitter Blue token when people on Twitter open articles from your properties. This prevents the ad-free experience from loading on your site. No change is required on your part, but feel free to remove the Twitter Blue code from your site.
