Victim of hazing! Engineering Student commits suicide by jumping in front of the train
Adolescent Kalam Webdesk: Constant Ragging and Harassment. The engineering student could not handle the pressure and jumped in front of the train. The dead student’s name is Pradeep Kumar. Age 20. The incident took place in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.
According to the family of the deceased, the senior students of the university harassed the youth. The level of torture gradually increased. The student was forced to commit suicide.
Police said the youth’s body was recovered from the railway line near Kabli railway station. A young man died after falling in front of a moving train on Saturday night. But the police are not sure if he committed suicide or an accident. They also said the body has been sent for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched based on the complaint of the deceased’s family.
It can be noted that the deceased youth is a resident of Sankarnagaram. He was a second year Electronics and Communication Engineering student at RSR Engineering College.
His death was initially ruled an accident. The police assumed that the student inadvertently came in front of the moving train while walking along the railway line. But on Monday, the investigation took a turn for the worse when Ragging’s allegations came to light on behalf of the family.
